Steve Jobs Tribute

In the last 48 hours, the internet has been bombarded with searches to the late Steve Jobs, CEO and co-founder of Apple Inc. Google, Yahoo, Bing and some many other search engines can’t keep up with fans of Apple products trying to find the latest news on Steve Jobs death.

Tributes are flying off the charts on the internet to pay gratitud to the creator of so many Apple products such as the iphone.

Take a look at these figures: Apple has sold more than 472 million products between iPods, iPads and iPhones alone.

Not a lot of people know that Steve Jobs is a college dropout. In 1972, Jobs graduated from Homestead High School in Cupertino, CA and enrolled in Reed College in Oregon. One semester later he dropped out.

Jobs embarked on Apple with a fellow college dropout Steve Wozniak in the family garage in Los Altos, CA in April 1976. Jobs, then 21, was the ‘sales’ guy, while Wozniak did work as an engineer.
Wozniak said about Jobs during an Intel Corp conference in August 2008, “Every time I designed something big from when we were very young, he would say, “let’s sell it.” “It was always his idea to sell it.”

One of the most admired CEOs, Jobs in 2010 took an unmeasurable salary of $1 for the entire year. Yes, in 2010 his salary was $1, but additionally he had a few million shares in the company to compensate his salary.

Not only did Steve Jobs was the great mind behind Apple Co., but also brouht NeXT (Computer Developer) and Pixar (Animation Studios) into the spotlight.

On Oct. 5, 2011, Steve Jobs 56, lost the battle to pancreatic cancer.
